DCS 73/3CY This dust collector concept is interesting because it is handling paper from an envelope manufacturing plant. Paper is often very difficult to handle because it has a large sail area to low bulk density ratio. Conveying is relatively easy, but separation has problems causing the product to drop out of the air stream. This system uses an outer cyclone chamber with a self cleaning screen around the filter bags. Collected paper is deposited into the compactor under with the fine dust and fibre being trapped on the filters and pulsed off after agglomeration.
